RBI dispatches bother free UPI installments for worldwide explorers in India

To make computerized installments simple for foreign travelers, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Tuesday reported an office to empower all inbound explorers visiting India to make local payments using Unified Payments Interface (UPI) while they are in India. The office, as per RBI's assertion will be accessible from Tuesday (i.e. 21 February).

The RBI proclamation added that the facility will be first available for travelers coming from G-20 countries.

"First and foremost, it is accessible to travelers from G-20 nations, at select worldwide air terminals (Bengaluru, Mumbai, and New Delhi). Qualified travelers would be given Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPI) wallets connected to UPI for making installments at merchant outlets.
